Army placed ahead of Big Ten participants MSU and Rutgers. Columbia, Gardner-Webb, LIU, Binghamton and Bloomsburg rounded out the event, held across six mats. Rich Treanor (141 pounds), (157 pounds), (174 pounds) and (285 pounds) each finished in third place. (141 pounds) and (174 pounds) followed in fourth, (149 pounds) and (197 pounds) placed fifth and (125 pounds) slotted in sixth. (149 pounds) and Colbert both recorded two wins by fall, while Filipowicz, Haase and (184 pounds) each recorded a pair of bonus point wins, and Frable won three times by major decision.
